The Encountered, Vol. 1 (Atomic Array 030)
Mind Storm Labs returns to the Array! Mind Storm Labs just released The Encountered, Vol. 1, a monster manual for the Alpha Omega RPG, which we featured on Atomic Array 012. We met up with them at Gen Con (see the video, below) and were blown away by the quality of this new book. Naturally, we asked them to come back on the show.

Thanks, Sean!
Oh, I’m still abundant with hair… but for the purpose of that particular photo shoot - for the cover of a lil demo - I just ponytailed it so the neat Atlantean coat could show sans obstruction.
And speaking of abundance, this episode sure was rife with recollections of real life failed saves, eh? ;)
Was pleasantly surprised to hear my entry to the Strike Force 7 voicemail thing on the show this morning, specially since you guys hadn’t emailed me about it yet. Sweet! Can’t wait to get my hands on it, the G.I. Joe movie left me with plenty of inspiration on what sorts of things to run, despite my dislike of the movie itself. Gonna be sweet.

Yeah, I figured I could wait for cable on that one.
Thank you much for your devious entry, Marc. We don’t alert winners ahead of time. That would spoil the suprise. ;)
Enjoy the game!
Hiya. Great show, as usual. Unfortunately, the “Atomic” coupon code doesn’t work. Bummer. Has anyone used it successfully? Or is it a total rip?
Thanks,
P
Perry, thank you for bringing the code issue to our attention and I’m sorry for your inconvenience. I don’t want anything getting between you and this kickash book.
I just shot a letter to Tom at Mind Storm Labs.
Perry, Tom said the code works. It has to be used at the Alpha Omega store site on the Alpha Omega domain in the coupon field.
If you have further trouble, he asked that you contact him at tomm@mindstormlabs.com
Once you add an item to your shopping cart and the site takes you to the next page scroll down and you’ll see a “Coupon Code” box. Enter the “atomic” code there.
Please note the coupon is only valid for the core rulebook and The Encountered: Volume 1.
I am officially hooked up. Thanks guys! (This time the system prompted me to create a customer profile first, so maybe that was the issue.)
Andrew, co-host Ed is our site programmer and he’s on vacation now but we’ll find a way to get the video up soon. Ed’s had trouble getting it to load for IE before he left.
Wait, darjr… are you saying that we’re the same person? I always knew this would happen. Hey, if we held the same job, we could each work half days! Who’d know?

Nice show… Of course, not to steal the thunder from Mind Storm, but my highlights were the whole Mira Sorvino doing an ‘intervention’ on Rone’s ex and of course, the bus incident… Priceless! I believe in Rone’s Facebook pic he has no long hair?? Twas strange that he was enraged so. :P
Great cast gentlemen.
